Horror Movies I Love

Hello fellow horror movie fans, my name is Wayne and I'll be your guide to introducing you to some of the more offbeat and obscure horror movies that your eyes will have the pleasure of festering upon. The reason I started this blog is to inform you of the abundance of horror movies available from all over the globe. I would like to to educate friends ,co workers and who ever else may be reading this, that Hollywood is not the only one making horror movies, and more importantly to let you know about the gems from years gone by, from the silent pictures such as The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari to the extreme violence unleashed by director Takashi Miike.

I am not a big fan of the Hollywood machine, especially when the talk turns to horror films. I enjoy most of the Universal monster movies though. The Bride of Frankenstien being my favourite, beautifully directed by James Whale with a nice touch of black humour. Sadly by the end of the 1940's these same monsters were sharing the screen with Abbott and Costello.

If names such as Mario Bava, Jean Rollin, Jesse (Jesus ) Franco, Paul Naschy,Dario Argento, Sergio Martino and Joe D'Amato don't mean anything to you then you will need to brush up on your Italian giallo and Euro trash . And this my friend is where I'll try my darndest to remedy
that.
So come on in ,pull up a chair and settle in for a reading or two of my thoughts and views towards Horror movies and whatever else may tickle my fancy at the time.
Oh yeah, one more thing about my ratings. Just because a movie is good, and I may like it. This still may not warrent the film a top mark. The more outrageous, crazy ass, what the fuck just happened there moments are our top ratings winners . And nudity that's always a bonus.
Don't forget to comment, let me know what you like and (or) dislike. Thanks.
